Vitamin D

Sure, it's very personal how much is needed, or for the 25(OH)D targeted. However, that could be said for each nutrient to some extent. And considering vitamin Ds benefits I wouldn't want it without. But then_ my 'perfect' multi would come in 2 different forms at the same time: water-soluble nutrients in dry capsules and fat-solubles in oily soft-gels. Since in my experience I need double the amount of vitamin D3 in dry capsules than in oil to reach equal serum levels.

I thought of something slightly ridiculous yet I will describe it anyway.
UV LEDS look kind of like pills. If UV LEDS get people to produce their own vitamin D, a "fruit battery" style UV LED could be included with the container of pills. Thus if there really were a survival event you could just make your own vitamin D from the LEDS. They have them on ebay at 71 cents. so perhaps it would be possible to get one around 37 cents.
I told you it was ridiculous. yet the tech curiousity part of me would be likely to grab it off the shelf with amusement, which is something to think about.
Of course 1 LED is likely not sufficient to keep a person from deficiency, yet if you keep taking the pills they accumulate

D3 was 1000 IU in Vimmortal 1.0. See here for current thoughts on the amount for D3.
