I have insomnia. With my lack of adequate medical insurance, it would be really difficult for me to afford to see a doctor and have my sleep problems diagnosed.

I bought some melatonin from amazon, but it's not the most helpful thing in helping me sleep. Is there any place I can get any kind of sleep-inducing medicine, like ambien lunesta sonata etc. or anything like those? Or anything that would help me fall asleep? Thanks

Piracetam helps some of my friends sleep, although it doesn't help me initially fall asleep which is the cause of my insomnia, it helps put me into a crazy deep sleep once I do get into sleep.

if you havent found the answer to your sleep issues i suggest you should head to the mental health section and look for the anti anxiety threads, or ask the member scienceguy he is a very intelligent and helpful member, insomnia is a very serious issue.

Bacopa
Sex / masturbation
Magnesium
Zinc
Uridine
Valerian
Chamomile
Deep breathing exercises
Moderate Exercise
Removing sources of blue light from around your house, triggering circadian rhythm issues
Establishing a consistent schedule for work / rest
In a pinch, a nice glass or two of red/white wine

.. perhaps if you describe what your life is like and what's going on, we could help isolate the issue?
