I saw a slide in Matt Kaeberlein's class that pretty much implied it.
Does CR interfere with build-up of muscle from weight-lifting?

I lift weights every other week. On weight lifting days I eat an additional 450 calories. I have no problem building muscle. I'm 5'8" tall, weigh 150 pounds and have almost no body fat.
1 pound of muscle burns just 6 calories per day at rest. So once you have some muscle it doesn't really get in the way of CR.

Hm interesting. I think it might depend on whether or not the stimulation of anabolism in weight-lifting is general or specific.
CR generally reduces the expression of anabolic factors (as does repressing mTOR), and that is the reason for my concern. It may be that the effects last longer than a day too.

I have no doubt that CR reduces that rate at which the body produces new muscle. But it's not a stop sign, it's a speed bump.
For what it's worth I'm 42 years old and have no problem building and maintaining muscle mass. But I do eat more on weightlifting days.
