i'm a 23/yr-old male. my goals for this regimen are mental/psychological health foremost, nootropic benefit, and general health.

My current regimen of supplements follows. the first section (magnesium-stresscare) i take by my own accord, whereas the later section my doctor prescribed to me for the reasons listed)...

magnesium
zinc
fish oil
vitamin E
stresscare: http://www.iherb.com...Caps/23143?at=0

adrenal support: http://www.naturalhe...-biomatrix.html
dhea (smallish doses for a 12-week program)
pregnenalone (smallish doses for a 12-week program)
b12 (got low levels in blood)
d3 (got low levels in blood)
probiotics (gut health = brain health)

^ there you have it - that's my regimen. i also plan on trying out the uridine stack with UMP, not not quite right away, and am also considering adding cdp-choline for nootropic benefits.

so first off there's the general question: anything in there questionable? and anything missing?

also, i have a specific question about the adrenal support product i'm taking (http://www.naturalhe...-biomatrix.html)...... does it make sense to swap that one, replacing it with AOR ortho-core? i'm suggesting it given ortho-core has all the vitamins adrenal support provides, and as for the herbs and such, i'm taking stresscare with has many herbs too and is also - sort of - meant for adrenal insufficiency.

I wish you luck with this regimen and if you are under your doctor's care I suppose that is a good thing because this supplental approach should address whatever issues he has highlighted.

I personally didn't like uridine. It felt kinda nice on the first day I took it but did very little for my depressive disorder and actually felt like it had ramped my brain up even more. I tried it alongside my low dose Lexapro and it felt like overkill so it definitely has effects on serotonin (I sometimes get this effect from too much fish oil with Lexapro). On its own, Uridine didn't address the obsessiveness of my depressive disorder and increased my anxiety.

Good luck though!
