Hey all, am just now slowly returning to normal after being extremely nauseous and having a bad headache so, how it all happened.

Yesterday decided to go to my nearest pharmacy to inquire about DMEA, pyritinol and vinpocetine and whether they are prescription or not as i'm looking for ways of managing my ADHD...

They didn't have DMEA but they did have the latter two but they were both prescription. But surprisingly the pharmacist said She can sell me both (don't know why the "special treatment" for me as it hasn't been like that before).

so i bought both and ingested 200 mg pyritinol (on an empty stomach) followed by 10mg of vinpocetine (after eating) at about 8:00 pm... this was my first time taking either of those substances. Then I medicated myself with some little marijuana and the high was somewhat unpleasant and I was sweating everywhere where i had some clothes on and getting cold feet and hands (from the vasodilation) but felt susprisingly calm and centered after the weed effects wore off at about 11:00pm so I decided to go to bet promptly..

So this morning woke up at 8:00am as expected but felt this weird slight pain in my stomach after exhaling fully (probably from vinpocetine as well somehow)

I wanted to have a productive day so I took 200mg pyritinol followed by 300mg of modafinil @ 8:05AM

Then at about 9:00 I decided to boil the water so i can make black tea or coffee (to get into my super concentrated/euphoric mode)

But as I was walking to the kitchen I noticed a lot of floaters in my pheripheral vision (but the thing is i'm pretty sure they weren't random but from my monitor, the same way the appear when looking at the sun but i've never gotten them from looking at screens regardless of how bright or how long I stare at them...

But they disappeared once i like looked solely on stuff aroudn my room and at nothing bright.

This is when I noticed somethings not right (although well being was good I mean felt absolutely normal, which is kind of strange as i didn't feel the modafinil which should've kicked in by now)... and then I decided to play a few games on luminosity to maybe get my eyes and brain going but after playing a few games I started to get a pretty severe headache (I don't get headaches much at all, EVER) and the headaches were followed by an ever increasing nauseous feeling so now it's 1:37 pm and i've just now feel well enough to write.. so it's been 4 hours of this... but now I feel i'm returning to normal... what could've this been?

I DONT TAKE ANY OTHER SUPPLEMENTS at the moment, besides fish oil

I'm thinking that maybe I ate something bad yesterday on top of it and maybe the headache and nausea aren't related ..

Although I don't think so, the nausea didn't feel like it had anything to do with food or my stomach not working...

Hmm so far I'm thinking that it was definitely either the combination of Pyritinol and Modafinil or just Pyritinol (although I did try it yesterday evening, same dose as today)

But after reading that Pyritinols adverse effects include nausea, headache I think I may just be sensitive to it alone, but I'm a little scared to attempt to narrow it down if it's the combination or the substance alone because nausea is one of my main weaknesses haha, I can't stand it... :P My head still feels very heavy and I need to take slow movements as otherwise there's just too much pressure in it (like after an alcohol hangover)

Hey man I know this being a long time, but do you feel better ? Because I feel exactly the same as you. I don't take pyritinols... but for sure I've tried some bad combos including bacopa gincko, rhodiola, L theanine Huperzine A coffee tabacco and of course... Modafnil at first It make me some headaches and vascocostriction-like feelings. 3 days ago I had a terrible sleeping paralysis and when i woke up my head (brain more certainly) was so heavy like an alcohol or MDMA hangover) I'm quite affraid because this still here from 3 days. someone have ideas ? Thanks.

If I get a bad reaction from a supplement combo I usually back off for a few days. Generally I don't start a bunch of new supplements all at once any more so I rarely run into a problem like this. If you add one supplement at a time to a stack you'll know exactly what is causing the problem.

Have you stopped drinking coffee or smoking? If you abruptly stopped caffeine and nicotine after this reaction it's possible you're experiencing caffeine withdrawals that can last quite a few days. I quit caffeine cold turkey about a year or so ago and was, for all intents and purposes, incapacitated for 4 days before being able to function at a normal level.

Christian, how are you now?

I'd suggest in that kind of situations, a lot of still water.
