Combining stimulants and antipsychotics is tricky. The Risperdal can cancel some of the stimulant's effects, but not all of them. It's a powerful D2-like receptor blocker, but a weak D1-like receptor blocker.

In practice, you may find that the risperdal takes the edge off stimulants. They may still improve your ability to focus (if you take a high enough dose), but they may cause less anxiety, motivation, euphoria, alertness, or obsessive thoughts/behaviors.

So basically they work together you just won't "feel" the medicine am I right? (What I mean by feel is you won't get high off of it)

Yeah, that should be what happens. But you never really know until you try.

Risperdal binds stronger to dopamine then dopamine itself wich can inhibit the effects of a stim as the released dopamine cant bind to its receptors; this isnt an issue with weaker ap's as the da can displace it from the ligand.
