OK I'm with enemy.

Lemon if you can, or mods otherwise, please close the thread.

it was bad enough the forum was about adam when he was here.

Anyone not living under a rock knows that it is likely Adam's products are ok, and likewise knows who they are ordering from.

Scott, the point is not about whether his products are ok...its the fact that he is a delusional individual. Everyone knows his past but what most don't know is that he's still just as psychotic as he was months ago, when he got banned by Avant and Imminst. The techniques he uses to prop himself up are shameful, calling into question the legitimacy of CNW's sulbutiamine with no proof:

Sulbutiamine from CNW might be counterfeit

Think about how many months he used similar techniques against Mike@1FAST400.......again I hate repeating myself, but I think these are points that need to be made over and over again. I strongly discourage anyone from buying from him.....don't support a lunatic.

I would encourage purchasing from these retailers:

Stellar,

I agree with essentially everything you've said... (actually I'd have to wonder if his psychosis is deteriorating)

Just not that we need to keep belaboring it on this board. It's covered in this thread.

And if warned, people chose to support him...it's a free country.

Do you think he'd poison me? He seems relatively fixated on one concept, that of bringing certainty in the minds of those who take nootropics and other supplements that they are not contaminated. I don't mind if he takes that particular concept to insane proportions. Should I? Is there any quality of product concern I should have with products I order from him?

Stellar- Adam is delusional, huh? That's why he has made strong points and even showed evidence that your favorite retailers are selling crap. You have this bone to pick with him, for what? Because he does not settle for so-called ''good'' products and that he wants to be ingesting the absolute highest quality products. I don't get it. Yes, he can be fanatical at times and he had a past with drugs but what should that have to do with him supplying the best nootropics/le supplements, service, and lowest prices??

Let me ask this- and Scottl, Magr and Haveblue can answer as well... All of you I am assuming love or like music, correct? Well when you get home or if you are now throw out all your records, cds, tapes, etc... because if it wasn't for drugs that music you love wouldn't exist. I am not going to state my point because you all are ''intellectual'', so the point should come second nature.

Oversoul,

"showed evidence that your favorite retailers are selling crap."

He is delusional because except for one honest mistake (relating to a long ago issue with a mixup with 1fast400 wrong product shipped), this is false. On what basis do you believe this to be true?

Adam has been banned from here yet continues to post under multiple false names, talking about himself in the third person, making false accusations about other vendors.

Defend that.

Oh and because much great music (Coltrane?, probably, Hadyn? probably not) was created by stoned out people, not always in touch with reality, we should buy our supps from someone likewise??

John,

I don't think Stellar, haveblue, myself or the equivalent folks on avant would be wise tempting fate ordering from him. Other people will likely be ok. But be clear...you are ordering from someone not fully in touch with reality.

John, you are missing the point entirely. I'm not sure how long you lurked before joining this board or avant, but its apparent that you don't have an accurate "picture" of Adam's prior behavior. It's really not about whether he cares about product purity (even if he does have them tested pure, and then mixed up in his kitchen[haha])...its what he did to others along the way: continually questioning 1fast400's products while promoting smi2le's then when offered the opportunity to test 1fast400's he is nowhere to be found (of course Adam later admitted that he got a discount and/or free stuff from Smi2le) --- his continual insults toward posters (many of which he went back and edited because he was ashamed) -- calling CNW's sulbutiamine fake (the link I posted above)....Im sure there are a ton of other examples but why waste more time. As I've said to other individuals like ozone, do your research on these multiple boards as to Adam's posting history if you're really interested. I know I would do some serious investigating if I were about to do business with him (assuming I had no prior knowledge of this individual). He has posted as "nootropi" and "adamP2P" both here and at Avant (both forums he has been banned from as "nootropi" but recently came back to avant as "AdamP2P", he was even a paid member here at Imminst). He also posts as "nootropik" on rec.drugs.smart (the archive can be found at http://groups.google.com). As I also said to ozone, more power to you if you aren't bothered by it or don't care....

AdamP2P, If after all this time you are still in denial about why people dislike you.....it just shows how truly delusional you are. My advice: go to your father and have him put you in a straightjacket and inject you with thorazine IMMEDIATELY!!!

I used to think that you were a crusader type, but after a while I started to see you for the fraud you really are.... continually calling into question Mike's powders while scurrying away after he offers the ability to test them. The latest example which proves you haven't changed is right here:

"Sulbutiamine from CNW might be fake"

These posts struck me as relavent, there are many many people that DO NOT like you...so don't act like I'm the only one.

I totally agree with InfoHazard. You are your own worst enemy.

But I don't think you can "learn" how to market yourself properly. I believe
you are socially retarded and don't have the capacity to develope basic
social skills. My unsolicited advice is that you should hire someone else to
do marketing for you and stay off these forums.

When I first subscribed to this forum, I ALMOST placed an order with you.
After reading just a few of your posts, I quickly caught on to your trip and
decided that I didn't want to support your business.

No matter how "right" you think you are, I don't trust you. My personal
experience is that anyone with this much mean spirited arrogance is not
trustworthy.

I think discussion about Adam's business is warranted. Keep in mind it gives those of you against Adam's business the chance for your say as well. I'll step in if there is some pointless flame war, or if Adam himself was posting because he's banned, but I'm not here to act as imminst's secrete police, censoring issues that we might not like. Consider it a blessing for when you find yourselves opposed to the leadership here.

Besides, you seem like you're doing a fine job explaining why not to buy from Adam, the other side doesn't seem to be outright disagreeing with your points. They're just saying that those particular points don't bother them because Adam still delivers the product. And though you, and even I may disagree, they are still entitled to vote with their dollars.

If I may I believe I can sum up the two sides of this issue rather simply.

1. On one side, we refuse to buy from Adam, not for any specific issues with the product he sells, or his customer service, but with his behavior in libeling other suppliers. Giving impressions that one would die if they consumed 1fast;s products for example. Going on and on about how bad Chinese stuff was just because it came from china, regardless of tests and then selling Chinese powders himself, and so on. His inability to handle disagreement. That is one side.

2. The other side is that thus far Adam has had no complaints on his service, and his product is delivered, presumably pure (to the specs he provides).

Many of us do not understand why when presuming 1 to be true that 2 should even be considered anymore, especially with other options at the same price level. But those people are apparently much more concerned about 2, and love it or hate it; it’s their decision to make. All we can do is inform them of situations they may not have been aware of. But once the information is in place it is up to each and every one to make these decisions for themselves. Telling someone their decision was stupid and they should never do it again is pretty meaningless if they have the information but they have merely arrived at a different conclusion.

For the record:

I will not tolerate personal attacks
I will not tolerate unsubstantiated libelous claims against suppliers. (If you can't back it up, don't post it) this will be doubly true when it is the representative of a competitor making these claims.
And if the thread just goes around and around in circles it ceases to have value as well and I’d probably close it then.

One thing that would help everyone is if before you sign on to imminst you say a quote by Voltaire in your head "Though I disagree with what you say, Sir, I'll defend to the death your right to say it."

If everyone had that quote floating in their heads before reading here I think the quality of the dialog could go up dramatically.

actually I'm not taking the essential mix at the moment. I had laser eye surgery a little more than a month ago, and was told specifically not to take higher than RDA doses of vitamin C for a couple months afterwards. I don't know why.

I'm taking 3 capsules of Ortho mind/day, another 300 mg of active rala from the krala, and on the order of 2 grams of piracetam.

I was taking fish oil, but I eat so much fish that I didn't think it was terribly critical. I eat sushi (usually tuna or salmon) 4 days a week, and cook some kind of fish for dinner usually 3 times a week (again usually tuna or salmon).

I'm still fiddling around with my doses of orthomind and the piracetam. I only recieved the ortho mind a week or so ago, and had a cold at the time so I didn't start it till a couple days ago.

Vitamin c is critical in wound healing and IMHO one of the most important vitamins overall...Lifemirage and some others excepted, I have a very low opinion of most doctors competence to discuss anything related to nutrition or vitamins. You might inquire as to why.

The surgery went very well for me. My vision is now around 20/15 in each eye, and my night vision is actually better. I don't know why the didn't want me to use other than dietary vit c, but I knew it wasn't going to kill me to be without it for 2 months. It's on the post operative instructions they gave me. I had lasik, though had I gotten PRK they would have recommended that I take more vit c. There must be some kind of reason.

I'll ask at my next followup

No need to ask.

In PRK, the epithelial cells on the surface of the cornea are ablated away and the cornea directly underneath is resurfaced. Vit c helps in the healing of the layer of the epithelial cells greatly.

In lasik the epithelial layer is not damaged, and one of the greatest complications that are possible with lasik is the epithelial cells growing and spreading underneath the corneal flap. Because vit c helps them grow and proliferate it is to be avoided in order to minimize the chance of this occurrence.

So basically precisely because vit c helps cells grow and heal it is to be avoided for several months after surgery.

Infernity,

There is a zen story that is relevant.

There are two zen monks walking along the road (Brothers A and B for our purposes). Now this is their day of silence, and the order of monks they are in includes chastity, and in fact they are not even allowed to talk to, let along touch women.

So they are walking along in silence and they come to a town where there has been flooding. They run across an old women who is trapped by the waters. One of the monks (A) rescues the woman by carrying her on his shoulders and is able to carry her to safety. Of course in the process of rescuing her he has to talk to her to communicate what he is going to do, etc.

The monks continue on their way.....

Several hours later the other monk (B) cannot stand it any longer and speaks...

Brother how could you? Not only did you break your vow of silence, but you know we are forbidden to touch women let alone carry one on our back. How could you break your vows?

Brother A replies:

Brother I put the woman down several hours ago...why are you still carrying her?

Sorry I cant get the link to work the way I want it to so I'll copy/paste:

The Dangers of LASIK Surgery: Why You Want to Avoid This Like The Plague

If you've considered Laser-Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis -- better known as LASIK surgery -- to correct your vision, I've come across a couple of Web sites (listed below) that ought to make you think long and hard about considering it.

As you may know, the LASIK procedure permanently changes the shape of the cornea, the clear covering of the front of the eye, using an excimer laser. A knife, called a microkeratome, is used to cut a flap in the cornea which is folded back to reveal the stroma (the middlesection of the cornea). Then, pulses from a computer-controlled laser vaporize a portion of the stroma and the flap is replaced.

In fact, one of the sites I discovered -- Surgical Eyes.org -- is devoted to focusing attention on the unique problems faced by patients who undergo unsuccessful refractive surgery.

If you want to protect your vision and optimize your health in the long run, consider these great tips I discussed in an article I posted last year:

Take a high quality fish or cod liver oil that's rich in DHA and EPA regularly.
Have your vitamin D levels checked as soon as you can.
Avoid trans-fat laden foods.
Get plenty of lutein.
However, most importantly later this year I will be offering a course that will help restore vision WITHOUT glasses. So please, please wait until you can try this course. I just got off a flight from LA where I spent the weekend and had a three day consultation which should completely reverse the presbyopia (far sightedness)I was developing.

The first course we will have will be for presbyopia and then we will offer one for myopia. In the meantime, do NOT have LASIK surgery. Without any question, it is one of the worst things you can do to your eyes as this procedure in no way shape or form treats the cause of the problem and is only a temporary fix that will ultimately make your vision worse and, as the links below show, has potential to result in serious damage to your eyes.

After a week or so they have most of their strength back. In a month it is more or less back to baseline as far as corneal strength.

Yes there is a small chance of complications. Most of these potential complications can be corrected, some cannot. Any surgical procedure has some degree of risk. That's life.
