Hi all,
i am in my second day on piracetam and DMAE. i searched the net, but it seems that DMAE is rarely used as choline source, so i want to ask is any of you doing this too? as i know 500mg is the maximum dosage recommended by some, but by now i do not feel from the above combination anything more than what i felt before from DMAE alone; so do i need to take more than 500mg and is that safe? i took the first day 800mg piracetam twice, today 1200mg twice and tomorrow i plan to take 1600mg twice; i plan to go that way until i see effects. thank you.

I used to, then I switched to choline bitartrate. Piracetam is a very safe substance but remember, everything should be handled in moderation. I have never mega-dosed DMAE. The most I have ever taken is around 700mg in a day.

audiomajik, why did you switch to choline bitartrate - was DMAE somehow insufficient, not working good enough? everyone says that choline is cheaper, but i thing dmae is cheaper, because it is used in far lesser amounts. so i prefer t stay with it, if there is no problem in that. i am now on 1600x2 piracetam and i am not feeling any headaches, so i guess i dont need more choline.

Conclusion was that if you use it short term, no problems. If you use it daily and long-term, take a capsule of phosphatidyl serine with each capsule of DMAE.
I think piracetam+DMAE is a perfect combo, if you experience no headaches no need to switch it up. If you don't notice too much even after months, you might be a non-responder though.
