Hello,
I was hoping that some of the more experienced users could chime in here and assist me with helping my father find something that would be helpful to enhancing his memory.
My father is 80 yrs old, and beside having TERRIBLE sciatic nerve pain down his leg, he is surprisingly healthy. However, just recently he has begun to tell me that he is having much greater difficulty remembering things. He has mentioned to me that it has gotten to the point where his memory is causing him embarrassment and frustration. In my opinion, the magnitude of his memory functioning does not seem to be far from what is expected in a person his age, but I would really like to be able to help him to some extent.
So far, the only thing he is taking is 4g of fishoil daily (400/200 epa/dha per gram), 200mg daily of Phosphatidylserine (Neuro-Ps brand), and the typical vitamins and coenzymes.
I was thinking of possible supplements that might help:
Piracetam
D-Serine
Sarcosine
Im not sure what else, but I would appreciate any and all feedback. Especially if you have experience with people of a similar age group.
Thanks
