I recently came across Sarcosine and it's mechanisms via you guys after that I recently started to take akamprosat.(Campral) with good result on anxiety, hangovers and urge for alcohol. I´am got ADD, anhedonia and somewhat bipolar.

Did hours of reading about GlyT-1 inhibition and NMDA modulation resulting in dopamine regulation (via DAT).

Are there anyone here taking Sarcosine having ADHD/ADD ?
Anyone taking sarcosine with dex/adderall?
Anyone taking both akamprosat and sarcosine?

They might be a great duo!

Cheers

I will get my sarcosine tomorrow so I should be able to tell in the next few days. I take Dexedrine for ADD.
I have developed tolerance to stimulants but I started taking Alcar/Ala and some other aminos that got some nmda modulatory function 2 weeks ago.
Now Dexedrine "bites" again. I expect it to do even better so on Sarcosine.

Acamprosate gave me a real lift in mood after only 3-4 days but killed my libido so I stopped it for now.

Would be interesting to hear from people taking Sarcosine long-term, if any.

Adding those nmda modulators to my stack is nothing short of a dispruptive stragety!

Been taking Dexedrine for ADD during the last 7-8 years and for over year I've exeperienced daily CFS symptoms. No matter how many Dex I've taken.
After 2-3 weeks on Alcar/Ala and 2g l-glutamine and 6g of Glycine in my mornning smootie I can feel a tremendous difference.

Tolerance seem to be gone, for now. Also cognitively I am I can feel my brain being more alive than can remember it to be. Thinking and output is way more direct and without the anxiety loops.

Only side-effect so far is a more activated sympathetic nervous system? in that my feet sweat a bit. But no smell;)

Also taking 5mg Ablify per week, Daily Afobazole, Agomelatine, Milk Thistle, Kudzu, Reveratrol, Pygeum, Saw Palmetto, Omega 3, CLA.

I tried Sarcosine and DAA for a few days but found it too activating (in the pot)and left them to see what the Alcar/Glutamine/Glycine could do on its own.

Also like to mention that I am NO racetams/SAMe/DMAE responder, ( tired/brainfog) Tried with various choline source except NAC.

Interesting.

When you say "nothing short of a distruptive strategy" I assume you are referring to disruption of tolerance to Dexedrine?

If so , what dose of dexedrine do you take and how long have you been taking it?

Have you built a tolerance to it in the past and now you are not or is this a new medication for you?

I have mixed short term experience with dexedrine. I love it at times at hate it at other times but would love to disrupt tolerance to the positive effects of course.

I have some experience with Sarcosine as well. In fact, I was planning to use Sacosine to cycle on off days of Dexedrine to prevent tolerance that way. I was not considering taking them together.

I have extensive experience with many other suppliments and nootropics as well and will expand on this more as time permits. Not much time tonight. I'm interested in your replies though.
