I accidentally exposed my self to about 4 hours of sunlight yesterday without sunscreen.
I burn very easily. After the fact, I expected to be burned.
Last night I was slightly flushed, and felt like a slight burn.

I have no burn.

It looks like C60, astaxanthin or PQQ, is boosting my sun resistance.

Astaxanthin has a very noticeable impact for me on improving resistance to sunburn.

I stopped burning altogether after I started taking antioxidant supplements, specifically larger doses of vitamin c and EGCG. I used to burn very easily, but now I just get nice healthy tans that never progress to full-on burns.

I go running for 1-2 hours a day all summer, no matter how hot it is, and also spend a lot of time biking in the sun as a form of transportation. I've yet to get anything close to a sunburn while taking these supplements.

Hi everyone,

This is fantastic news about ATX. I have 'fair' skin so I tend to burn easily during summer and spend few days hating life and everything around me but now that I keep hearing how Astaxanthin helps out I actually can't wait for summer to roll in.

Just out of curiosity, are there any brands that you prefer over another? I've currently been using VIVA Labs Astaxanthin at 15mg per day with food.
