I have been using piracetam, aniracetam, sulbutiamine and choline for about two weeks now. I have also been taking multivitamins, fish oils and vitamin B supplement. The effects seem to be somewhat noticeable but definitely not as pronounced as some users have claimed. I have also seen a lot of back and forth debate about the necessity of using a choline source, if there is a better source than the other, if i makes the racetams more effective, etc. I decided to start tracking my use of nootropics and I will do this daily for about two weeks to see if i can better identify the synergistic effects of some of these supplements and track my general progress.

A little self bio: I am 22 years of age, recent college graduate getting ready for medical school. I am constantly studying for exams, certifications, etc. I am pretty athletic. I do resistance training 2-3 times a week and I run about 3 times a week for about 3-4 miles. I have kind of a solid diet. Definitely have my off days but i try to give my body as much of the needed nutrients.

I will start tracking my use of nootropics daily for about two weeks; using them for the first couple of days without a choline source, then incorporating Alpha GPC and then finally replacing that with choline bitartrate. Hopefully this will help highlight some of the effects of the use of these racetams and clarify some effective stacking strategies. I will also greatly appreciate any CONSTRUCTIVE criticism and discussions that can help us all. Thanks!

I will try to post at the end of each day starting tonight. This is my stack so far. I am awaiting some oxiracetam. If you have any valuable additions you think would increase the efficiency of the stack, your opinion is greatly appreciated.

Morning (usually right after break fast with vitamins)
  • aniracetam- 800mg
  • sulbutiamine- 700mg
  • Oxiracatem (currently being shipped)
  • Fish oil- 1g
I also drinking green tea in the morning and often in the afternoon and i take an additional dose of fish oil later in the evening.

Afternoon (usually right after lunch)
  • aniracetam- 800mg
  • sulbutiamine- 700mg
  • Oxiracatem (currently being shipped)
  • Fish oil- 1g
  • L-theanine- 200mg

Day 2

I had a good experience with the stack yesterday. I noticed i felt more energetic and a whole lot more motivated throughout the day. Transitioned fluidly from one task to another. After my afternoon/evening stack and before my evening workout, noticed bit of nausea and fatigue. This wore off as I pushed through and focused on the workout. I felt great at the end of it.

Today I will be doing something a little different. I received my shipment of oxiracetam, vinpocetine and sulbutiamine (in pill form). Serving size is listed as one 200mg pill 1-3 times a day with food. A little lower than I thought the dose was supposed to be. Or maybe I have just been taking too much. I have also read a lot about the effects of sulbutiamine wearing off after consistent use due to tolerance. Seeing as I have been on it for about a week, I decided to take a break for about a week and cycle in the oxiracetam and vincopectine.

Day 3

I can attest to a repeated feeling of motivation and energy yesterday. I would say that I was generally calmer in social situations and was pretty much relaxed overall. Some tasks that usually seem extremely daunting seemed more manageable. I still felt the daunting feeling but logically I know what needs to be done and find it easier to just go do it. I will be following the stack above for the next 3 days or so, after which I will add in Alpha GPC.

Day 3

Decided to do an update at the end of the day. It is 8:42pm and i just woke up from a nap. I was energetic throughout and extremely motivated to handle all my set tasks for the day. I really did feel like I had more energy and focus. It was a pretty busy day with a lot of running around so I started feeling a little tired towards the late afternoon. I ate, took the afternoon stack and pretty much dozed off after for about 2 hours. It was a pretty good nap. I woke up feeling a little groggy but I am alert. Actually going to get some more work done before going out

Day 6

Over the past couple days, the results I have experienced from my stack have been pretty decent. Nothing profound like colors seeming more vibrant or music sounding crisper, but I have definitely noticed a lot more clarity in though. I wake up in the morning, throw a pot of green tea on the stove and I am up and good to go. Per day, It seems like I get a whole lot more done without too my distractions

I am going to add in the choline into my stack today. I will be using Alpha GPC manufactured by NOW. The serving size is 2 caps which comes up to 600mg and this is supposed to be taken twice a day with food. Heres the new stack;

badassstevo, i used to the racetams from a supplier on ebay, one of those generic ones, but I recently got an order from newstarnootropics. I wanted to try it out and see if it was better quality. So far they seem to work about the same but Ive only been using for about 4 days so we'll see.

silverbear; yes i did. With sulbutiamine, i felt like i was often in a generally more uplifted mood, which is one of the claimed benefits of sulbutiamine. Nothing extremely out of this world but a subtle effect on mood. I read a lot about tolerance build up while on sulbutiamine so I am currently off of it.

How would you compare the effects with and without the Alpha GPC? You did not write about any negative effects without it but still decided to add it, going from 0mg/day to 1200mg/day. I'm curious because I have Alpha GPC available but seem to get a headache from more than 200mg per dose, wondering if I'm missing on something by not using any at all.

Honestly i only tried it out because i have continuously heard that it was highly recommended to take a choline with the racetams. I wouldn't say that I noticed any negative effects without using choline but I did decided to add in a choline source and while using Alpha GPC, i noticed that it seemed to get me in a more alert state earlier in the day. I usually feel very groggy in the morning and when I had the Alpha GPC, i would take it first thing upon waking up. Its funny that you are having headaches from using the choline because usually people complain of a headache when they use piracetam without choline.
I am no expert but maybe you dont need as much choline (might be due to your diet). Or a different choline source might be more suitable for you since Alpha GPC is one the most potent choline sources. I currently use choline cdp and i take it every other day.
