hi guys i was wondering if there is an herbal alternative for deprenyl, i'm looking to inhibit mao-b but deprenyl causes you to fail amphetamine drug test, also i tried hordenine but didn't get any noticeable effects, maybe it was the brand i tried, and i also tried Hederagenin didn't get any effect either.

Since they are all reversible inhibitors, you get a pretty short-lasting effect. Also, they are not "pure" MAO-B inhibitors, so you get a lot of "side" effects.

Good luck finding a reasonable alternative (there probably isn't one).

http://en.wikipedia....r#List_of_MAOIs is a fairly full list of MAOI's A/B.

lammas2 are most/all of the above shown to be MAOI/B inhibitors or just suspected?

Yes, all of them are MAO-B inhibitors.

Epicatechin
Emodin
Piperine
Hydroxytyrosol
Desmethoxyyangonin
Methysticin

Couldn't find a source right away for hydroxytyrosol, but others can easily be validated with a simple google search "X + MAO-B".

ricko, did you not think of rasagiline, the more advanced, newer version of selegiline that does everything selegiline does but no amphetamines metabolites whatsoever ? well, go fetch

i read this not sure if its true

I get random drug tests and I was told that deprenyl can test positive for amphetamine metabolites, is this true?

A very high dose of deprenyl (20mg) is estimated to produce 1/100th (one hundredth) the amount of amphetamine that is required for a positive test to occur.

Dr. Dean himself was a navy surgeon and was regularly tested for drugs whilst in the service, in all that time he was taking low dose deprenyl (2-3mg per day) and never had a positive test.

It is extremely unlikely that deprenyl will produce a positive amphetamine test. Of course it is always recommended to state what medications and supplements you are taking on the form before the test is taken.

i dont know which site sells it but google can help i assume. and deprenyl in all forms have some amphetamine activity. just concentrate on finding rasagiline instead since its upgraded version and if you do research comparing the two, rasagiline needs less mg for better activity, no amphetamine metabolites and people who switched from selegiline to rasagiline report better longer outcome without the side effects selegiline has.
