Ok, so I'm sifting through my supplement cabinet and I know there are some bottles I've been avoiding because they have stuff in them that's not ideal (like Carnitine for red meat eaters or stuff that's just too high a dosage for my needs). My supplement goal is to prevent as much aging as possible and to look AND feel as young as possible. For now I'm not looking to buy any more supplements, just looking to make better use of what I have for achieving my goals. I'm taking my stuff periodically rather than daily to hopefully get more out of it as I'm unemployed. When I get some money, I might try living strictly on ketones and nom/soylent w/ a little real food here and there.

Specific questions:
* What's the difference between Acetyl L Carnitine and L Carnitine? Are both just as bad for red meat eaters?
** Is the amount of tocoferols here interfering with the ability of tocotrienols to prevent/reverse atherosclerosis/arteriosclerosis?

100mg Raspberry Ketones (weight management)
1500mg Chitosan (weight management

These two have no real scientific backing behind them; the few studied that do exist (if at all) are hardly significant in their findings and are not duplicated. The only dietary supplement that has been shown to be effective for managment of lean body mass is Conjugated Linolenic Acid (at 3.5 - 4grams daily) and even that is questionable but atleast has okay amount of evidence behind it.

1000mg HMB w/ calcium and phosphorous 23%/18% (sporadically taken to get rid of)
1000mh HMB w/o other supps

HMB in general has poor scientific backing to it; discard it.
