Hello

I'm 2 months after laser treatment on my skin and i'm afraid DNA damage. Can you tell me what I can/should use or take to strenghten/help DNA repair ? Cat's claw, resveratrol, green tea extraxt, GSE, polyphenols could be useful ?
I will be greatful for any advice.

It seems that damage to the DNA in the nucleus is of less concern than damage to the DNA in the mitochondria.
C60oo is discussed extensively on this forum and is probably your best bet for protecting mitochondrial DNA.

Also look into telomeres and telomerase activators like Astragalus etc.

Your body has a variety of systems to repair DNA damage. You could help it by wearing sunscreen and/or avoiding sun, and by eating a healthy nutritious diet.

Vitamin C internally. If you just got laser and put anything on your face that has the potential to oxidize in the sun such as Vitamin C serums or Retin-A, especially in the summer, you have the risk of causing even more damage. Vitamin C ingested is your safest bet right now, and will help improve your absorption of iron, another important mineral for skin and hair. I've recently been taking 1000 mg of vit C every day, for about a month so far. I won't see improvement for about 6 months from what I understand though. I just found out I'm anemic though, so that might be another thing you should get tested for if you aren't healing properly from the laser.

I take vitamin C, Cat's Claw Extract, Green Tea Extract, Astragaloside IV, zinc.

Is it worth to buy supplements contains AC-11 ?

You're welcome :-) That's fine about the Retin-A. Glad you're taking Vitamin C. I don't know much about AC-11. If you haven't found any long- or short-term negative side effects stated in any published studies, than I think it wouldn't hurt you to take it. Another thing I would take daily is baby aspirin, 81mg. There have been numerous amounts of studies on this that have proven to prevent certain types of cancers due to it's anti-inflammatory effects on the body. It could possibly reduce any inflammation that occurred with your laser as well. What kind of damage occurred with the laser by the way?
