Firstly hi everyone.
Would like to get some opinions on an experience with Phenylpiracetam I had today (I have never taken Phenylpiracetam before).
I pretty much jumped right in about a week and a half ago with stacking with what in all honestly initially seems to be working great. I have used Piracetam and Oxiracetam previously with choline although have never bothered to stick to a regimen for any extended period before. My current stack is:
800mg Piracetam
800mg Oxiracetam
10mg Noopept
200mg Choline Bitartrate ...all 3x daily.
I should probably mention that these are all loose powders and are measured using a teaspoon and a microgram scoop so there is probably significant variation there. Nonetheless I have found this to be overall very effective. I have been at least 200% more productive, driven, and cognizant and have finally catalysed my dealing with something of a personal psychological issue which I was previously several years overdue in resolving. It is probably relevant that I have also been abstaining from all other drugs except caffeine and have been exercising and eating better in the weeks leading up to this, so I perhaps cannot attribute everything to the nootropics alone. Subjectively though, I feel good.
However today I received some 100mg Phenylpiracetam pills in the post. Having already taken my usual morning dose I waited until almost 7 hours later to avoid too much overlap in sampling this new chemical and then dosed 100mg, 10mg Noopept, and a smaller choline dose than usual (I had recently read some conflicting information on the usefulness or advisability of choline supplementation, perhaps it was a mistake however to try to make too many changes at once).
The next few hours were a gradual decline. For the first 2 I didn't really notice anything, but I gradually realised that I just wasn't getting anything done. Couldn't focus properly, scattered thinking, forgetfulness, distractability and anxiety over some relatively insignificant things. I still needed to get some work done so after 3 hours I dosed some Oxiracetam, I know this was maybe not advisable but as I say, I did need to get some stuff done and for the first few hours I was thinking what I got was just bunk (which I think now is probably not the case, because looking back now that I can think more clearly again, my anxiety was at a totally irrational level). I think the only thing this did was make me more anxious.
Almost 6 hours later it occurs to me the smaller choline dose might be the culprit so I dose about 200mg, along with my final Noopept dose of the day. Within half an hour I can feel some clarity returning, I no longer feel so anxious and indeed maybe do even feel something positive at the tail end of a fairly unpleasant experience with Phenylpiracetam. I am still getting some waves of uncertainty and overall I just feel totally put off this supposedly very powerful chemical.
So my question is, has anyone has experienced anything similar?
I know that I have perhaps made it difficult for myself to tell exactly what happened here with the amount of chemicals involved. I will just briefly explain why I did not cut Noopept out - honestly I think adding Noopept to Pi+Oxi is like night and day. I have combined and used both before but never previously experienced the drive and lucidity that adding Noopept seems to bring. Given that it is not a racetam I judged (perhaps wrongly) that it would not be an issue to alter the racetams I took while leaving Noopept essentially the same.
In any case I am currently undecided between taken 200mg tomorrow with a more standard amount of choline (again, perhaps I tried to make too many changes at once here in experimentally reducing my choline dose) just as a last shot at getting something out of it or just forgetting about it for now.
Any comments at all welcome and thank you for reading if you made it through that unintentionally long post.
