I've been experimenting with piracetam and CDP choline the last few weeks. I haven't been able to tell if piracetam is doing anything extraordinary (as it's claimed to do); I either feel sleepy or not much at all. I tried taking CDP choline but this just makes my OCD worse and then I'm not productive. I tried taking it the night before (causes me to wake up in a few hours, i feel kinda refreshed but I get really tired quick and then feel like sleeping again. I've been taking 1.5 g of piracetam and 200 mg of cdp choline. I read some of the posts about acetylcholine defiency and notice I have some of those symptoms (always wake up tired & groggy, have dry mouth [i always feel like i need to drink water], emotionless, i have good memory, but trouble with short term memory) and that's why I was taking cdp choline, but like I said it made my ocd worse and increased a strong urge to be more tense. It mostly increased this need for me to really tense my muscles and shudder. It's kind of hard to explain but i think it's a type of tic. I was thinking of taking alcar in place of cdp choline, do y'all know if it can be "substituted" or do I need to accompany with something else? I'm planning on using the following supplements too can y'all tell me if there's any conflict in taking them together? piracetam, aniracetam, bacopa, alcar, uridine monophosphate, cdp choline, 5-htp, sulbutiamine(cycled every few days) . By the way, i've only been taking piracetam, cdp choline and sulbutiamine. Thanks in advance guys, howdy from Texas.

If it don't works it don't works .. Sorry.
With your kind of issue, except if you have some real academic project (I mean something that imply a continious focus and sharpness) you might try something really relaxing.

I have exactly same symptoms, you have to take something like Alpha GPC as a choline source, alcar is really irritating I don't like it at all!
try the uridine stack coupled with some PhosphatidylS magnesium glycinate, and maybe a tiny bit of cannabis before bed (I mean < 100mg) it should do the trick to give you some emotion with an increase of creativity.
As you wake up a low dose of naltrodexone with a good cocoa cup should be fine.

You are using a low dose of Piracetam. You should be using a minimum of 4.8 grams a day and it takes around 4 weeks to reach full effect, although up to 8 weeks is possible. Very few people report massive improvements - more just a sense of better cognitive function and improved mood which seems to be all persuasive.

Aniracetam maybe more useful if you have anxiety problems.

I have no experience with plain old piracetam, but I find oxiracetam is more of an instant awareness booster for me compared to aniracetam and pramiracetam so that might be worth looking into. Then again phenylpiracetam is even more of a stimulant cognitive enhancer but only suitable for occasional use seeing as anecdotal reports of rapid tolerance indicate it is not practically usable on a daily basis for more than 3 consecutive days.

The guy has OCD. Something to help with the anxiety and cognition would be best.
