This is great! What other proof do we need to seriously consider that we, biological computing machines, live in a simulation, our minds downloaded into this world with the sole purpose of being entertained?

"Since the genetic code was deciphered in the 1960s, scientists have assumed that it was used exclusively to write information about proteins. UW scientists were stunned to discover that genomes use the genetic code to write two separate languages. One describes how proteins are made, and the other instructs the cell on how genes are controlled."

Why stunned? All they needed was to enlist a couple of programmers on the team. Then they would know that no program can exist as a sole data array (=proteins) but must also include the instructions how these are to be utilized.

If one is to look at a compiled code, the data arrays are easy to recognize, just like the genes were immediately recognized, because they listed amino acid sequences of the known proteins. But to assume that these genes were all there was to it and the rest was "junk" ..lol.. Supposedly this spin was the work of reporters dumbing it all down for general public ..still..

The funniest thing about all this is that it implies that there is God after all (most likely, Gods), cause no way in hell a computing machine can assemble itself as a result of random fluctuations.

PS
and of course, the Gods are us, even though most of us here are just 'registered users'.
