Can't find much on the recovery side of adrenal fatigue, was wondering if anyone knew of any fundamental vitamins/mins or herbs for it? Pantothenic acid, rehmannia, and licorice root are the only things that look hopeful. I'm assuming that upregulating the gabaminergic system would assist in the recovery, so supplements for that would be an option to.

Well if you can't find it you have not searched now have you? There is a TON of information online if you just google 'adrenal fatigue'. Here is the best book on the subject:

And to drop some herbals and stuff for you to look into all good for adrenal fatigue:

I'd like to throw in quercetin and dl-phenylalanine, at least... quercetin is not only a mao inhibitor but in fact also:

Corticotropin-releasing hormone/factor (CRH, also called CRF) is released by your hypothalamus gland to coordinate the production of adrenal hormones and your stress response. Chronic stress can lead to excess CRH production, in turn directly causing anxiety and depression. A new study shows that quercetin can stop excessive CRH production1 and thereby take the edge off of anxiety and depression.
In fact, pretreatment with quercetin was able to prevent anxiety and depression from developing in the first place.

This in turn would decrease cortisol in the body which can be a good thing. But worth to mention is that chronic stress can also make the body unable to produce cortisol and then you are suffering the type of adrenal fatigue from lack of cortisol. There is two sides to the coin, adrenal fatigue from lack of cortisol, or from to much cortisol. None of them are a good thing, when it comes to cortisol and stress balance is key.

True.

But in the quote about quercetin reducing corticotropin releasing factor they only talk about stopping excessive crh production. So I assume it would only return cortisol to more normal levels. But I could imagine it could also be the case that CRH is excessive because cortisol is too low. Just guessing here though.

To be sure, one could probably test cortisol levels.
