I just read about what is called ''spatial sequence synesthesia'' being a condition when you see numerical sequences as points in space, for example I always imagine all twelve months with all four seasons and upcoming events around me in a circle ,and when I think of multiple subjects at a time they have separate space in my Imaginary visual field,I always thought of it being common and then I began to wonder as why I never experience amnesia after heavy alcohol intoxication, till the point I can't recognize someones face and I'm falling on my back. After my first psychosis which happened 1 year ago I developed a sort of tuned down autobiographical memory where I could consistently recall conversations that took place 6 months ago,but there were also times when my mind generated memories of events which never took place where I was convinced that I had a girlfriend who dumped me,I noticed that something like this happens when my mind perpetuates a memory through repetitive thought patterns often crippling the original memory. Could it be that some people consolidate memory through a different neural circuitry and perhaps why people with high IQ's tend to be a minority because of congenital brain malformation, just the way evolution works when a random ''error'' occurs?

I also want to apologize for my recent posts due to reoccuring psychotic episodes.

Synesthesia, as far as I understand it, it mostly due to overactive pattern recognition. The sequence "123456789", to someone with synesthesia, would appear differently to us. Yes, I said "us", because I have a mild form of color based synasthesia. Upon seeing numbers with a recognizable sequence, I find myself seeing it like a spectrum. The colors aren't fixed, and I don't see 8 always as green, or anything like that, but sequences nevertheless appear to be colored. When zooming in mentally on one singular number, that is not the case.

I think it's actually pretty common, but most people overlook it until its pointed out to them, or just brush it off. I never noticed it until shortly after a period of fairly regular psychedelic usage when I was a kid so... maybe it does have something to do with brain dysfunction?

And Schiz... you're okay. We've seen worse.

I don't think of it being a brain dysfunction, giftedness, maybe? :D. Jeoshua, have you been following the c16 thread if so what are your thoughts on my theoretical stack which includes alpha-thujone and supplementary GABA to suppress 5-ht3,gaba a activity in the hippocampus to induce LTP. Before you say It can kill me, like the time when I wanted to try strychnine.Well you are right, but this time there is big a difference of alpha-thujone having an antidote while strychnine does not. So I want to hear your input on whether supplemental GABA has any effect on muscle rigidity.

Actually I know very little about alpha-thujone. Looking it up on wikipedia, the LD50 seems to be 45mg/kg in mice, meaning a human effective equivalent LD50 for an average sizes human male is over 200mg. But I can't really find a "theraputic" dose, since it's not generally accepted to be a remedy for anything. This is the kind of thing you would want to use a scale for, and be careful not to overdose, but it's not deadly strychnine. But it also doesn't seem useful for learning. Just because something is an antagonist of a system which limits learning in certain situations does not mean inhibiting that system will increase learning. From the effects of mild overdoses it sounds an awful lot like it will cause convulsions, psychosis, and nausea, and anticonvulsants, antipsychotics, and antinauseants often have properties which are useful in treating schizophrenia.

Overall, it might help you learn, but it might not be a lesson you really want.

I would think of it being less of a brain dysfunction and more of a brain hyperfunction. I have had relatively heavy visual snow since I was about 5 years old.. I remember looking at the floor and seeing little particles zooming through the tiles. I thought it was normal and that I was just seeing atoms. Nope. Anything that is really patterned does this really badly for me.

Good luck with the thujone thing. And if you overdoses I doubt you would have enough time to fight the seizures and get an antidote in your system. I think you will be fine as long as your are not venturing into dosages by the gram, however.
