LongeCity lifetime member Victor Bjoerk met with the world's oldest person recently:

The most interesting thing I found in the interview is the woman's diet. She claims to eat 3 raw eggs per day for "strength". If this is true, it once again shows that diet plays a very small part in extreme longevity. If you follow the Ornish Religion, then you would expect this woman to be dead at 40 or sooner, because fat is the most evilest-est nutrient in the diet and pretty much causes every chronic disease known in the medical literature.

Outside of the anti-fat religion, the epidemiology on egg consumption is not great, again raising questions about confounding factors in such studies and/or the overpowering influence of good genes.
