In this thread I would like to collect recommendations about good blogs. Personally I organize my daily read in a rss reader (in my case Feedly) and I am interested in blogs which publish new findings related to aging, brain health etc. on a regular basis. A good example would be a blog writing summaries about the papers which otherwise could only be extracted after reading the recent journals.

Vince does a good job on http://www.anti-agingfirewalls.com/. Looking forward to your personal favorits. Thank you!

Thank you. I have them in feedly as well. Altough it seems to me that they prefer studies which fit in their model of fitness.

I prefer to turn pubmed searches into rss feeds. It's easy.

You go into pubmed, search for something, for instance stem cells, and you press the rss link. And then all you need is a program like Feeddemon or a browser plugin to organize it all, neatly and easy to process. It saves me a bunch of time and I can decide for myself what's important or not.

I know that's not for everyone because it requires that little bit of extra involvement, but it pays of in my opinion.

And it cuts off the middleman, good for people that like to form their own opinions.

Hey Aurel,

These 3 blogs don't always summarize the latest studies, but they often have fascinating info on aging and brain health. The authors of these blogs seem to be pretty non-biased, in my opinion. Let us know if you come across any other blogs.

http://foundmyfitness.com/--Dr. Rhonda Patrick studies aging and nutrition. I believe she's recently published a paper on Vitamin D and its relation to serotonin. She's starting to get into brain health research as well.

http://humanfoodproject.com/--Interesting Blog on cutting edge research on the microbiome.

chriskresser.com -- Chris Kresser does a good job of summarizing the results of studies that I personally don't have time to read. I love his podcast.

Josh is OK but he is a bit shaky on biomoleculelar science. I like his optimism.
