I think that methylene blue has tremendous potential as a high-yield nootropic (http://en.wikipedia....Clinical_trials) with an excellent safety record, and was wondering if the longecity community has been able to locate any legitimate suppliers of pharmaceutical grade methylene blue. 

 

There have been concerns about heavy metal contamination and procuring methylene blue that is USP-grade and safe for human consumption in milligram quantities. 

 

The only pharma grade supplier of methylene blue I have been able to find is on Amazon: http://www.amazon.co...duct/B00WGBIBUC

 

I tried to order methylene blue from AppliChem (https://www.appliche...-reinst-usp-bp/) a couple weeks ago but they said they no longer carry the USP grade product and only sell methylene blue for use in textiles. 

 

Can anyone recommend a good supplier?

Only know one person taking it. She says these guys were only ones she'd consider.

I'm curious if it will help with COPD. One side effect if you take too much is shortness of breath.
