LONGECITY

We are looking for a bright, friendly and persistent individual who works with presenter Mind to produce a monthly podcast: 

Duties: 

a) identify suitable guests, invite them and schedule the interview 

b) pre-announce the podcast on the forum

c) prepare a bit of background info

d) prepare a set of questions 

e) cut the interview as required and upload it

Reward: $40 per podcast + ₮

The most important part of the process and the most time consuming is e). Cutting/editing. Currently I edit the entire raw audio to remove long pauses, ummms, ahhhs, stutters, restarts,  so that it flows nicely and is a more pleasurable listening experience. My typical raw audio is about 30 minutes. This is usually cut down to about 15 minutes. It takes about 3 hours of editing.

I have 4 years producing podcasts, I may be able to help here... Would this be for the Longecity Podcast found here?

There is an interesting proposal here. Hopefully we can get this moving. I'd like to see something come of this.
