Which is better?

Are they all about the same?

Which is the best value?

I'm upping my folate dose to around 5mg. I was using Metafolin (from Solgar). Now it's getting expensive, so I'm considering the alternatives. For some reason, a few years ago, I thought Quatrefolic was not as good for some reason, or there was some question, like it had to go though an extra step before it was available as methylfolate compared to Metafolin. But, now I'm not seeing evidence for that. Is that not true?

Thanks.

I think the form I was thinking of that takes an extra step is folinic acid.
