I am curious (despite the time of the first post), but why was this project more aimed at women?
I'll hazard a guess that it is due to women generally being more interested in looking young and the fact that millions are made out of products designed to help achieve this. If we could get just some of that money spent on actually being young instead of just filling in cracks and creating an illusion of youth, we could really advance this cause and get more money put into research. ![]()
I know that men are also interested in looking young but their cosmetic industry is dwarfed by the cosmetic industry for women - whilst they have moisturiser and some other things, they don't have half the products aimed at them that we do.

That is a reasonable reason. However, I do think we should open more males' eyes to the idea of medicine that promote longevity in a way that the promotion of these therapies does not resemble the promotion of a run-of-the-mill cosmetic. So I guess it is okay that this project didn't target as much males as it did females, given your reasoning and the fact that the project was probably executed once, but I think if the project was successful and if a similar project were to begin, it would be good to attempt to reach out to a more similar amount of males and females.I am curious (despite the time of the first post), but why was this project more aimed at women?

Men don't really have beauty pageants... maybe muscle pageants for bodybuilders... but it really isn't the same thing. Sustainable beauty is still impossible to come by... no one really has that yet, the idea is kick start the development of it and get cosmetic companies competing to develop it.

Yes, it's all of that. Being young on just the inside or the outside is unsustainable. The epidermis is our largest organ after all and needs to be taken care of for long term health.
