Hi all

I would like to share my experience with Adrafinil, I have a problem with excessive daytime sleepiness and Modafinil is not available here without a Narcolepsy diagnosis.I have no issues with my heart, I am of average weight. I have had recent blood tests which show I am in excellent health. I took 300mg of adrafinil in powder form a well known reddit supplier stand alone without any other supplements.

[Day 1] I was talking a lot more than usual and had the urge to engage in conversation, my body temperature was elevated which is what I expected. I started to get this weird numb feeling in my hand which began to hurt, I had a pain in my back and jaw as well, I fell asleep during the day for around 4 hours, my hand started to get worse in the evening so I took some pain killers and went to bed, I was laying in bed talking to myself my mind was in overdrive thinking and talking it took me a while to fall asleep.

[Day 2] I put down my first days bad experience to the fact I took Adrafinil on a full stomach so I decided to take it in the morning on an empty stomach, I slept for around 10 hours that day, the tiredness was similar to being on Quetiapine,  the pain in my back and jaw was gone but my chest felt strange, the hand numbing got worse I couldn't clench my hand into a fist. I decided to stop the trial.

[Day 3] Even though I had stopped the supplement my hand pain got so bad that I had to go to the doctor, the doctor couldn't see anything physically wrong so she put it down to muscle strain in my back.

[Day 4][Today] I am extremely tired today,  the hand numbing comes and goes, right now I can barely squeeze my hands the right hand seems to be the worst one. I hope things clear up for me in the next few days.

I have never experienced such an extreme reaction from any supplement I have ever taken nor have I ever taken a supplement that made me really worry what was happening to me.

Adrafanil has adrenergic effects as well so if you are sensitive to clotting or have a clotting disorder then it's possible that your blood flow got restricted or impaired to your periphery and thus why you feel this pain in your hand. It's also possible that it over-excited your nerves and some previous issue was unveiled by the sup.

I've never had that reaction to it before...In fact I've never really even heard of that before so really I am just speculating/theorizing as to what **could** have happened knowing the pharmacokinetics and MOA of the substance...however, without knowing your medical history is very difficult to determine beyond speculation what is actually going on.

Well with Modafinil Back pain and muscle stiffness are side effects. My hands are back to normal today I can squeeze very tightly now so all I have to do is find a pretty girl to squeeze!
