Has anything he takes shown to slow or prevent ageing? Probably very little and not much if at all. Also note that Kurzweil has a financial interest in a supplement company.
If you're young, money is probably better spent donating to organisations working on the diseases of ageing rather than throwing money after supplements.

I don't like that knee-jerk dismissal of him because of a theoretical conflict of interest. Kurzweil is a longtime tech pioneer and visionary thinker who is now a bigwig at Google. No doubt he has all the money he will ever need.
Whether he is right or not is another matter. If you can cite specific assertions he makes that are no longer considered valid, that might make for an enlightening discussion. But in general his books show that he has thought all the various issues through, and is pragmatically as much focused on extending healthspan as extending lifespan.

According to what I heard in an interview to AdG, Kurzweil has some rare metabolic deficiency disease, and some supplements he takes actually correct that deficiency, and he has outlived the life expectancy of people with his disease. For healthy people his supplements have no proven effect. I can't remember what interview was that. Maybe The immortalists documentary?

Its hard to trust what he says when the has a supplement company, complete conflict of interest. We just don't know enough yet, supplements may help or harm.
