So I have ventured my way to Cerebrolysin as it was my last option in combating my poor cognition, which was a result of my past substance abuse—in this case, Marijuana. I am sure many would argue that Marijuana has minimal negative effects on one's cognition, and I would agree with this to an extent. However, when a developing brain is exposed daily Marijuana use the results can be disastrous—I am a testament to this.

I was a heavy Marijuana from age 14-21 (about a quarter ounce a day—it was free), and because I was not using my brain in an intellectual manner, I never noticed how bad my cognition actual was. This diminished cognition really surfaced when I decided to continue my studies and return to university. My grades were not bad, I completed my bachelors with a 3.7 GPA, but it was a difficult process and I don't even know how I did it—it was as if I hacked my way through. I still can not read anything in it's entirety; and I really want to, but I just can't. It just feels like my head isn't there, as if I am not normal. This poor cognition can also be seen in my writing, it takes me so long to form sentences and they're still terrible; and again, it feels like my head isn't all there. My social skills and verbal abilities are also bad, and I sound unbelievable dumb while speaking to people because I can not form sentences correctly. Now that I am in the process of getting my masters, I am determined to get these issues corrected in whatever way I can—hence, Cerebrolysin.

I started my Cerebrolsyin cycle at the beginning of the month, and I have been doing 5ml IM injections every other day—influenced by a study done on children with autism. Today was my 12th injection and I have yet to see any discernible difference. I have three more injections left and I am hoping to see some improvement soon.

Has anyone here had experience with Cerebrolysin? If so, how long did it take for you to notice any improvements?

I may be wrong but I remember of someone not feeling much the first weeks from daily 10 ml doses. I'll try to track the comment later.

Well, today was my 13th injection and all I can say is Wow! This is life changing stuff. It's like my brain was just rebooted. I was getting discouraged, but I am happy I stuck with it.
