NAC and mercury

Inoxia's Photo Inoxia 12 Dec 2015

Hello,

just wondering if supplementing NAC could have negative effects on health due to mercury chelation and mobilization. I ask because since i started supplementing NAC and omega 3 gel caps three months ago and after a while i started experiencing a whole lot of seemingly unrelated medical and mental problems such as:

- the strongest panic attack i ever had;

- often a mental sensation of disconnectedness from reality paired with difficulty paying attention in conversations;

- severe anxiety and mood swings;

- a big inflammation of a lymphatic vase under my armpit (maybe unrelated); this is regressing only now after 2 months; doctors found this thing very strange and thought it was thromboplebitis, which an ecography and perfect blood tests demonstrated it wasn't; as of now no one of 4 doctors is sure of what was the cause;

- bad memory;

- lethargy;

- hypersensitivity to stimulants;

- a scary episode of very strong and uncontrollable right hand shaking for 10 long minutes;

i used to eat a lot of tuna in the past before becoming educated about mercury poisoning dangers, so my fear is that nac mobilized mercury in my body, causing the mental symptoms and the lymphatic reaction; omega 3 of dubious quality from ebay maybe exacerbated the problem due to mercury contamination.

At the time i was also taking magnesium, vitamin d3, noopept and aniracetam.

Now this could very well be a far fetched theory, and maybe there are other reason for all those things, so i'm asking here, thoughts?
