So I've been reading about desmopressin for a long time now, and it seems like a great nootropic for memory enhancement, and I'd like to try it. I've heard of recommended dosage being 1-2 sprays in each nostril (20-40mcg), and nasal administration seems to be the only ROA that allows for the nootropic effect. But here's the thing.

In my country, desmopressing is not cheap.

For about the same value, I can either get a 2.5ml nasal spray with about 22 sprays of 10mcg each (~11 doses of 20mcg) or a pack with 30 pills containing about 170mcg each. That would be about 240 doses of 40mcg.

I know that desmopressin is soluble in water at about 110mcg per ml, so I could dissovel one pill in about 1.5ml of saline and get a 73mcg/ml solution.

My question is: would this work, or the spray medication has other stuff in it to allow nasal absorption?

Also, would buccal/sublingual/intranasal administration of the crushed pill work?
