Is anyone interessted to start a project (webpage) where we try to create a medical diagnostic device which one day should be able to give the private user and the professional user a way to collect a large ammount of data from the huamn body and even assist him/her with identifying diseases?

Something like that tricorder-project, but with a real imaging method which doesnt use x-rays.

Recently I read that it is possible to use IR-Light to get images (not very good ones) from one inch deep into the human skull.

Couldnt we find a way to combine multiple imaging methodes to replace X-rays and make the whole procedure safe enough to be used by general practitioners?

What do you think?

I think that kind of device must use multiple methods: blood analysis, urine analysis, ultrasounds, X-rays if necessary, ECG, ... A first step could be a small device for genetic analysis that would provide the user with biomarkers for several diseases' risk.
