I was wondering what the effects would be of inoculating the colon with microbes that metabolize phytates and/or oxalates. Would this be a safe route to look into for greater mineral absorption? I think so, but maybe there are unforeseen consequences of this. Could this be a cure or treatment for kidney, bladder stones etc.?
