So, I have some powder creatine.  It says 1 teaspoon is 5g.

Considering that I do not have a teaspoon, although I have a 7.5cc scoop, upon checking google I found that 1 teaspoon is 4.9cc.  Essentially I want to do about 2/3 of my 7.5cc to get 5g.

But then I saw with powdercity.com's creatine, it said 3g was 6cc.

Does every brand of creatine have a different volume?

It might to a certain degree (difference in mesh size) but more likely teaspoons comes in different sizes, spoons and cups are horrible measure units.

I filled a 10 mL syringe to the 10 mL mark with Swanson CREAPURE creatine monohydrate then weighed the contents.

I got 7.38 g without tapping the syringe to settle the powder.

Then I tapped the syringe a little and got 7.77 g.

Then I tapped the syringe for a full minute (to settle the powder) and got 8.99 g.
