I let myself get quite malnourished by not eating enough, and having little to no diversity to what I eat (basically a mix of nuts and seeds in the mornings, then salad for dinner) and seem to be paying the consequences now. I need to stick to a paleo style diet since I'm intolerant of grains. I don't have a juicer yet, but is there a way I can rapidly get high concentrations of nutrients into me by making some kind smoothy or milkshake?
What I'm thinking is:
- Pea protein
- Hemp protein
- Chlorella and/or spirulina
- Honey (for flavour)
- Milled chia seeds
So all that will supply much of the amino acids needed. Theres clearly much more needed though, including fibers, minerals, vitamins, flavonoids, fats etc. Are there any good condensed sources of nutrients that you add to your shakes? Also what kind of supplements would you take on top of all this?
