Very surprised with the effects of thiamine HCL on verbal fluency, energy levels and overall cognition. Dosed 2 - 4mg every 4 to 6 hours (to saturate the pathways, more can only be absorbed through passive diffusion, so unless extremely deficient then throwing on 100mg+ is pointless).
It could be caused by my chronic alcoholism, but overall it's GOAT! Magnesium, cinnamon and full RDA multi stacks well.
No wonder my alcohol intake and coffee drinking depleted me out of thiamine.
Discuss.

The Thiamine I take daily comes in 100mg tablets, this was the lowest dose I could find other than getting it in a Complex.
There are multiple studies on Pubmed of using High Dose Thiamine, 600mg - 1500mg, for things like chronic fatigue, MS, Alzheimers, PD, and a few other conditions. It is a very fascinating Vitamin for sure. I will try and find some of the studies.
I have never heard of the super low dose you have been using, but still very interesting, Glad you have found something that helps!!
