I would like some input/advice if my Health Stack will be safe to take daily with Prozac 5mg (a microdose).

I take the following everyday:

Morning:
Taurine 1000mg
Biotin 2.5g
Vitamin C 250mg
COQ10 100mg
Cranberry Extract 300mg
Costco Adult Multivitamin Gummies 2 gummies

Evening:
Taurine 1000mg
Cranberry Extract 300mg

The reason why that I will be taking Prozac is because my Anxiety/Depression is getting out of control.

I tried taking various supplements to help my Anxiety/Depression, but they didn't help me.

Thank you to everyone that replies. It means a lot to me.

the only things i know would interact would be rhodiola rosea and

grapefruit juice-from google , Grapefruit juice can increase blood levels of Prozac. Anticoagulants (blood thinners) or Digitalis glycosides (heart medicine)—These may cause higher or lower blood levels of these medicines or Prozac, which also increases the chances of side effects.

and anything that boosts serotonin you should probably stay away from due to risk of serotonin syndrome like 5-htp but your on a low dose so i don't know if that applies

Thank you.
I really appreciate it.

I do have two heart conditions (Mitral Valve Prolapse with regurgitation and Pulmonary valve prolapse with regurgitation), hopefully the Prozac won't be too troublesome.
I take the Taurine for the heart conditions.

methylene blue-It is a potent monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor, and in combination with other serotonergic agents such as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), MB can produce serotonin toxicity in the perioperative period.1,2

i'd do more research on 5ht receptors and heart disease

I just researched that Norfluoxetine, the other active ingredient in Prozac is Cardiotoxic. https://en.wikipedia...iki/Seproxetine

Would that in the regular combination with Fluoxetine cancel out the Cardiotoxicity somehow?

It really makes me wonder.

I just wonder what the definitive answer is to "Is Prozac Cardiotoxic?"

I really can't take a chance on my hearts health. Maybe Zoloft (Sertraline) will be a better option. I just have to ask my doctor to switch medications.

There are many, many other antidepressant drugs out there, so it shouldn't be a problem shifting it - just mention it to your doctor.

It should also be noted that Fluoxetine is the SSRI least prone towards causing discontinuation-syndrome - because of it's abnormally long half-life - it's even used to treat such symptoms and helping people quit SSRI's!

So no problem switching to Sertraline - another well-documented and safe drug.
