As the title states, I'm looking into making my own stack(s) for the first time. I have made an introduction here that details more about my Crohn's and goals, if you are very interested... but it's not required to understand this post :)

My Crohn's disease is in remission, with little issues. My depression is chronic and has stemmed for around 2-3 years now, with diagnosis's of Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Mainly, I am looking to fix my anxiety which I believe causes my depression, and my fatigue which makes it much harder to overcome the other two.

Currently, my stack is:

  1. Amphetamine Sulfate
  2. Magnesium Glycinate
  3. Coenzyme Q10
  4. Fish Oil (Omega 3)
  5. Vitamin D + Vitamin K
  6. Vitamin B Complex
  7. Noopept / Sunifiram (depending, one or the other or both... or neither some days

I was looking to reduce the "sleepiness" and "tired" feeling I get often. This happens even when I sleep well, eat well, stay hydrated, and don't go above 20-40mg of Amphetamine per day. Caffiene helps somewhat, but feels a bit "wrong" or at least not long lasting enough.

In addition, I would like to reduce side effects of heart racing or "shakiness" as much as possible, and of course any "neuro-toxicity" concerns. Generally my heart stays below 130 BPM, often below 110. Resting it is around 70-80, and on Amphetamine it can go from 85-150 (average 110). The shakiness is rare, but happens if I decide to take a big higher of a dosage one day, or just rarely occurs. Generally not too unpleasant, but sometimes I feel a bit "claustrophobic" or just generally uncomfortable, without any definable cause.

I'm not sure which supplements / nootropics to consider, but so far I am looking at:

  • L-Theanine
  • Ashwagandha Root
  • Bacopa Monnieri
  • Creatine
  • L-Tyrosine
  • Piracetam
  • Oxiracetam
  • Aniracetam
  • Modafinil
  • Alpha GPC
  • CDP-Choline
  • Acetyl-L-Carnitine
  • Curcumin
  • Rhodiola Rosea

However, I don't really know which may work the best for depression and the lethargy, so I was looking for recommendations.

Thank you!

Ive been dealing with very similar issues for the past few years. I have crohns disease as well as ADHD, Fatigue, and Depression.

Ive tried so many different drugs and supplements over the last years. Ive found Modafinil works so much better for me than Dexedrine, no come down and less if any side effects. I usually combine Ashwagandha or Theanine with the Modafinil, or some days I skip those.

Methylfolate, Vitamin D, Fish Oils, B12, are other supps I take daily.

CBD capsules really help when I have a flare occasionally.

Here is one supplement that may be of interest:

N Acetyl Glucosamine
GlcNAc shows promise as an inexpensive and nontoxic treatment in chronic inflammatory bowel disease, with a mode of action which is distinct from conventional treatments.
