Is there any type of creatine supplement that doesn't go into the muscles but only the brain?
Ordinary creatine makes me look fat and puffy.

It certainly doesn't make you look fat and puffy. It simply can't, especially not by drawing water to the muscles! Only way to explain your experience is that you take it with loads of junk sugar.

Creatine increases water retention and this makes my face look fat and puffy.

Yes, but it is weird it does so to such an extent you can notice it...maybe there is something else that contributes.

I use quite a bit of creatine but I can't see any difference whatsoever regarding puffines anywhere.

I used exactly 2 g of creatine monohydrate daily since many years (pescarian). My face is a thin as ever.

So maybe it depends on the dose?

For muscle building, 5g or more is supplemented.

It is unlikely depending by the dose since creatine stores are limited, after a while more than 5g/day is just excreted.
