The National Institute of Aging has a program called the Interventions Testing Program, where substances thought to have a beneficial effect on aging are tested in very large, well-run mouse lifespan studies. These are very high quality experiments run by labs that are expert at mouse husbandry. Today it was announced that MitoQ has been selected as a test compound. Results are to be published in 2020, so don't hold your breath...

Nice to see it tested like that. The slow grinding of science continues. In the 2020's we might be lucky if some "fast forwarded life of a rat on a chip" comes along and speeds things up.
