Okay, yesterday I didn't post an entry, since there was nothing spectacular to note. I had a rest day, did some yoga, nothing exciting happened, except for some April fools, of course!
Today was round 2 of Workout A on C60 and I was bit disappointed. Maybe I'm expecting too much, or maybe I just had a bad day, I don't know. I took 7 grams of Citrulline Malate pre-workout, but it seemed as if it had a negative instead of positive impact on my workout, yet it's not certain that there were no other things that caused this.
My lifts:
Wide Grip Bench: 60, 55, 52.5, 52.5, 52.5
Lateral Raise: 14 (10, 10, 10)
Incline Bench: 50, 47.5, 45 (wasn't able to do all reps)
Close Grip Bench: 52.5, 50, 45 (wasn't able to do all reps)
Chest Dips: BW+12 (6, 6, 6)
My incline and close grip bench were a bit disappointing. Maybe I was a little tired as I had to do lateral raise before my incline, since the incline bench at the gym was taken. (side note: during the week -when I'm at university- I go to the gym; at home, I have my own personal gym at home)
Next time, I will just continue to take it slow and not expect any extraordinary increases in strength. In a few days, I will also reintroduce my caffeine pre-workout.
