In security footage the Navy Shipyard Shooter looked purposeful, alert, and like he was on a combat mission. Of course he could still be mentally ill, but just on the face of it, the footage released and what he managed to do, doesn't seem to support the thesis that he was just batshit crazy. He could have been. We also could have technology that did what he claimed it did, either intentionally or not.
