I got the news yesterday in the elevator. I influenced an election and the leadership of an organization. I spent hundreds of hours and at least six hundred dollars to do it. My source gave me full credit for the changes. He told me to celebrate. Wow. I did something. I worked through the night a few times, and people heard me. There was an annual meeting/election and a stakeholder who is a lawyer attended and forced through a motion to bring an important change. Two board members have been replaced, and a few other stakeholders became active, because of some writing I sent out. I had to look up a hundred people's addresses from public records. I wasn't even officially able to vote but I did all of this. Whew! I did something and I was congratulated. Right on.
