with shampoo with sulfites in it, just once and didn't condition. Because of the heatwave I have had to give up my usual customs. You can wash your hair a reasonable number of times but the heatwave can make it stink anytime. This time it stank like dirt or how people's clothes smell after running around sweating in a dusty field. I've had to wash my hair like regular person, or a guy. But not with soap--I draw the line there. I was making my own shampoo with ginger, green tea and plant compounds but I had to stop that for certain reasons. Now I'm actually back using a sulfited shampoo because my hair got fatigued of the sulfite-free one I had.
