Got up at 8:00. Went to farmer's market. Bought a lot of stuff. Came home. Made a simple breakfast. Cooked three kinds of veggies from farmers market to eat later. This stirred up some physical issues. Made an elaborate lunch with farmer's market produce: herbed goat cheese, basil tomatoes, cucumbers, baby greens, micro greens, sweet mini peppers, pecan crackers and samosas. Was delicious, nutritious and exhausting. Physical issues stirred up further. Rested. Had to go vote. Voted fifteen minutes before polls closed.
Went to try new Italian restaurant. Had spoken to Chef/Owner on the phone last week to ask food question. He asked me for my name and phone number and gave me his cell phone. Thought I should follow up. Circumvented numerous hair/appearance/clothing issues by going with wet hair and getting take out food. Restaurant wasn't where it should have been. Also something else distracted me. Turns out restaurant is hidden. Chef told me he worked alone, doing everything himself in kitchen, and was frequently overwhelmed. Planned to relay greeting through waitresses. Through open kitchen door I saw three or four assistants. Got take out order. Told waitress to say hello to chef from me. It occurred to me belatedly that I could have said hello in person. For some reason waitress looked displeased. Left, ate dinner at outdoor table. Went back to car. Dealt with distracting thing. Found new Asian restaurant with no MSG nearby and got take out menu. Came to where I am now.
Fought for parking. Had left wheelchair at home. Used shopping cart as walker. Needed to sit down to use computer where I am now. Had to ask for stool; very hard, very not good for physical issues. Also was awkward to ask. Wish I had made a better decision. Didn't want to have to lift wheelchair in and out of car. I tried. I give myself a C minus for the way I handled the Chef situation. But I get an A for trying.
