Is Twitter a Real Thing?

Just spent a lot of time on Twitter, going through tweets and looking at who I follow and who follows me. Some people follow me and then unfollow me and I don't know why. I seem to spend a lot of time there without feeling that anything real is happening. Twitter's software is surprisingly crude and user-unfriendly. I feel I have to tamp down my creativity. I like to post a lot at one time, but I figure that's overwhelming. Still, when I post sparingly, that doesn't seem to make me more popular. There's some good stuff on Twitter, but the tools to sift through the rest of it aren't there; you have to do it. You can't even delete stuff from the feed. WTF? I've been trying to use Twitter intelligently but it doesn't seem like much real is happening. All my best sayings are there, but I didn't hashtag them. I was too new to know to do that. Even if I had . . . It feels like a job. I feel like Lucy on the assembly line with the chocolates coming in fast and furious.
