I got something important done today. I didn't pass part of the test but the guy passed me anyway. I wasn't expecting that but then I got an official picture that looks absolutely horrible, but I'm legal. So I came out of there, surprised, relieved, and nonplussed all at once, into the suburban sunlight. I came to a different part of town just to process it. I'm legal and I'm grateful. Maybe I can retake the picture later. I had to renew all the stuff from my car in a two month period, insurance (had to find a new company), safety check, registration ($240.00), AAA, and drivers license. I got it all done, often in the last hours but I did it all. I feel like I deserve a medal. I got through it all.
