In the vicey part of town. A sixtyish Asian woman is feeding coin after coin into a machine in the corner. There are some sweepstakes looking machines to my left. They make piano noises. I thought gambling was illegal here. Someone smells overwhelmingly like listerine and alcohol fumes. Probably the guy to the left of me with an unlit cigarette dangling from his mouth. The sixtyish lady is mentioning a public defender.
I'm working on a white Samsung keyboard with Asian characters as well as roman letters. All the keys are somewhat out of position. The left shift key doesn't work. The search engine is something called "inbox." I was hoping they would still have 3 by 5 disk drives so I could transfer a play I am writing to a zip drive. This was one of the last places to have them. I'm too late. I feel like Rip Van Winkle. I wish what I have to say was more important to people than where I say it or what electronic medium it is recorded on.
It smells like stale cigarette smoke and burnt matches in here. There is no one smoking. It is prohibited by law but it must be soaked into someone's clothes.
