I straightened out my apartment. The layers of clutter were like an archeological excavation. Four disabled clocks were discovered, their batteries removed, their innards exposed.
Somehow, in the course of the investigation, a wall calendar went missing. There would seem to be no way for that to happen but nevertheless, it is gone. True, it had somehow migrated to the desktop, my pathetic wall hanging skills being at fault. It's further movements confound me. It is gone.
I should be able to sleep as late as I like. An idiot in my building feeds birds who subsequently think our building is their home. They land on our balconies at dawn chirping. This is repeated hundreds of times a day. Hundreds of bird craps adorn the railing. Sometimes they come in our apartments and cause further problems. I haven't really slept in over a year because of this. I feel incredulous, weary, and mad.

I just found my extra garage door opener in a sack of sewing supplies along with a plumbing part. I found a few other things.
