Just found out I'm homozygous for the risk allele in http://www.snpedia.c...x.php/Rs1052133 , an SNP involved with the DNA repair gene OGG1 and correlated with higher odds for various cancers. I also have a very high level of 8-OHdG through a urine test, which is a biomarker for oxidative damage.
I'm still young (mid-late 20s) and have held off trying C60oo so far. Should these discoveries change the risk/reward equation? Is there anything else I should consider?
